The ABF awarded Nya Udengwu (Cactus High School, Phoenix, AZ) The Amy Bennett Memorial Musical Theatre Scholarship at the 2019 AZ State Thespian Festival. "I will attend Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, beginning September 8th. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to act in many shows due to Covid-19, but I'm patiently waiting to kick-off he next school year as a theater major. It may seem like there's been a setback for the theater community, but I just know it's going to come back stronger than before and be better than ever!"
