A note from Joey:
"I have been in love with theatre since I was 7 years old. Fiddler on the Roof was the very first stage production that I performed in. I loved the idea of dancing around a stage and being someone else for an hour or two. Ever since then, I have been improving my skills and performing as much as I can! Theatre has been my escape from the outside world and it has allowed me to express myself freely and embrace my creativity! Now, I am playing some of my favorite roles at my favorite theaters! In addition to theatre, I play piano and train in Jiu-Jitsu! I have recently been cast as Evan Goldman in Starlight Community Theater’s production of 13: The Musical, and I am excited to put this scholarship to good use! See you on the stage!"
